NEXT LEVEL LACROSSE MENS LEAGUE @ COOL SPORTS
The Next Level Lacrosse League is the premier Men’s Lacrosse league in Knoxville! Next Level Lacrosse was founded by Mike Brisbin and Next Level Athletes with the goal of expanding lacrosse in East Tennessee. Our league welcomes all current (16 and older) and former High school and College players! Gather friends and old teammates to create a team within our league and battle it out through the summer season!
in our 2nd season! This season we will have 9 weeks of lacrosse. 8 weeks in the regular season and the 9th week will be championship week to decide the winner and final rankings. These games will include a championship game between the top 2 teams, and a 3rd place game. Rankings will be decided by the team's regular season record. The first tiebreaker will be their head-to-head record, the second tiebreaker will be regular season points scored. In the result of a third tiebreaker needed, it will be decided by a coin toss by the team representatives.
each team will be appointed a team representative by the league Commissioner. Each team representative will then draft players from a player pool composed of all players signed up for the league. Any players who sign up for the league after this draft will be considered free agents and can be picked up based on team waiver order.
WHEN & WHERE:
All games will be played at COOL SPORTS located in Knoxville and games will start PROMPTLY at 7PM every Wednesday night. Our league is played in an indoor facility with turf fields.
TEAMS:
There will be 4 teams with a roster of 10 – 15 players, with 1 coach/player that will represent their team.
Age 16+ all players must sign a cool sports waiver that is good for 1 year. players under the age of 18 will need there parents to sign and authorize waiver.
GAMEPLAY:
-Gameplay will be 8v8 with faceoffs (2 Defenders, 2 Attackmen, 3 Midfielders, 1 goalie).
-If a team cannot field a roster of 7 players including a goalie, they will FORFEIT said game.
-All field rules will apply to our games.
-Teams will be allotted ONE timeout per half, with the exception of the last 2-minutes of each half.
-Quarters will be 12 minutes each with a 5-minute halftime and warm-up. Each team will have 2 minutes to clear the field after the games.
-In the case of overtime, the game will be decided by a 5-minute sudden death overtime with no timeouts. If a winner is not decided in the allotted time, the game will end in a tie.
COST:Registration will be determined closer to season. Registration covers field fees, end of season awards, player uniforms (players to keep), balls and additional league upkeep. All players must provide their own equipment to participate. Players must complete COOL SPORTS waiver to compete in any games.
PLAYER TRANSACTIONS:
During the duration of each season, there will be no player trading allowed.
Players can be cut with league approval. Basis for player(s) cuts will be disciplinary and attendance concerns. No refunds for players that are removed from league.
Once player registration is complete and the league fee has been paid, a refund will not be available.
Next Level Men’s Lacrosse League has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. Any player(s) who participates in actions detrimental to the players, league, or COOL SPORTS will result in a minimum 1 game suspension. Player discipline will be decided by league Coaches and Commissioner. All players are expected to show respect for the league and facilities, as well as good sportsmanship.
Once player registration is complete and the league fee has been paid, a refund will not be available.
